WebSepto-optic dysplasia (SOD) is a condition in which several parts of a baby’s brain and nervous system fail to develop normally during pregnancy. Symptoms of the disorder vary widely and may include blindness, hormonal problems, and intellectual disabilities. In most cases, the cause of SOD is unknown. WebThe combination of these problems may be associated with hypopituitarism, a condition called Septo Optic Dysplasia. In this condition, there may be problems with fluid balance hormones.
