WebFeb 2, 2012 · remove the plug on the blank cover under the seat and see if you have oil there when you start the tractor.. if you have a goot jet, pump is pumping, lines not frze and pump is primed.. then it's a top cover issue.. like a unloader stuck, unloading..e tc. post back.. The lift does raise … WebFind the worn pin. Disassemble the control linkage until you can get the part with the worn pin out of there. Press or drive the worn pin out. Replace with the correct hardened dowel pin part number 374072S from Ford/New Holland. This is listed as a 5/16″ x 7/8″ dowel pin but it is actually .309″ diameter not 5/16″ (.3125″).

WebJul 7, 2008 · Hydraulics in general, yes. A valve sticking and allowing fluid to partially bypass would give the symptoms that you describe. the older that hydraulic fluid gets it breaks down and forms "varnish" over moving surfaces. Industrially speaking, hydraulic fluid should probably be replaced every couple thousand hours of use. WebJul 13, 2013 · On the tractor RH side is an inspection plate, in order to see if the lift arms are being actauated you have to take off this plate, a moving lever with a twist strikes an actuator which shifts the control valve in the hydraulic pump, this should respond to actuation by the position control movement on the quadrant.
