Sunday School Classes

Youth Sunday School

In our Children’s and Youth Sunday School, we greatly emphasize learning about God – who He is, what He does, and having a personal relationship with Him.  We emphasize the great stories of the Old Testament and how they apply to young people.  As well, we teach about the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

In our children’s and youth classes, there is an age appropriate emphasis on evangelism, daily Christian living, and discipleship.  We also offer frequent activities for these ages that incorporate fun, fellowship, and opportunities for young people to serve God.  These classes are divided based on school grade levels from pre-school levels through high school.

Youth Age Groups:
Beginners Primary Juniors Jr. High Sr. High	Age 3-K Grade 1-3 Grade 4-6 Grade 7-8 Grade 9-12

Adult Sunday School

Willing Workers Class
This class is primarily focused on Bible book studies.  All ages of adults are encouraged to attend and participate in these interesting and exciting studies.

Good News Class
This class primarily uses an in-depth, verse-by-verse study in the approach to the Word of God.  All ages of adults who are serious about the study of Scripture will benefit from this excellent class.

Agape Class
This class follows a verse-by-verse format in their study of God’s Word.  Discussion, question and answer, and class interaction are all a part of their approach to the Scripture.

Ladies' Class
This class, made up of both married and single ladies, is an exciting and enthusiastic group that studies both Bible books and topical issues.  Through their time together, these ladies are encouraged to study the Word and live the Word.  Exciting teaching, group discussion, and outside activities make this class a great choice for ladies.

College & Career – Generation WhY?
Young people of college age and those just beginning their chosen careers face issues and problems unique to them.  This class, made up of single young adults, discusses the difficult issues that confront them and then, from a Biblical world view, discover the right solutions and make practical application.

Ambassadors Class
This mixed adult class is dedicated to a detailed study of Bible books and topical studies.  This class is known for its deep and detailed study, with application for today’s Christian.

Faithful Pace Setters Class
This interesting class includes middle-aged couples and singles that enjoy both Bible book and topical studies that prepare them to face today’s world.  Lots of student class participation makes this a church favorite.

Two Shall Be One Class
This dynamic class is geared to newly married couples and couples with young children.  This group enjoys discussing and finding Biblical solutions to those topics that concern them and their young families.  Class interaction, involvement, and fellowship make this a great place for young married couples to connect with others like themselves.

Men's Class
The teacher of this class, a retired minister, provides good, solid teaching coming from years of Bible study and ministry experience.  This class is geared to men and the specific issues that face them today.

New Beginnings Class - Getting To Know My Church
This short, information-packed class is offered every quarter, runs for a period of four weeks, and is required for those who desire to join our church.  This class serves as a good introduction to the ministries and activities of CBC, as well as the many opportunities for service offered at CBC.
